SMS & Messaging Terms
Effective July 25, 2026
These SMS and Messaging Terms describe how text messaging works with the Ondara Service. Messaging may include notifications to a business owner or staff (for example, a text when a call results in a booking or emergency) and, where a business configures it, confirmations or reminders to that business's customers. These Terms supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Consent to receive messages
By providing a mobile number and enabling text notifications — for example, by giving your number and agreeing to a text confirmation during a call answered by an Ondara agent — you consent to receive service-related text messages from or on behalf of Ondara at that number, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent to marketing texts, where offered, is not a condition of purchase. Businesses that use the Service to text their own customers are responsible for obtaining the prior express consent those customers' laws require.
2. We do not share your mobile information
No mobile information — including your mobile phone number and your text-messaging opt-in data and consent — is shared, sold, rented, or leased to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent are excluded from any information sharing, and are used only to deliver the messages you agreed to receive.
3. Message types and frequency
Message types include booking and lead alerts, call summaries, appointment confirmations and reminders, and account or security notices. Message frequency varies based on your call volume and settings.
4. Rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan and carrier. Ondara does not charge for the text messages themselves, but your carrier may.
5. Opt-out and help
You can opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive a final confirmation and no further messages to that number for that program. Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@tryondara.online. Opting out of service messages may limit the Service's ability to notify you.
6. Carriers and delivery
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to carrier and network conditions.
7. Compliance
All messaging must comply with the TCPA, CTIA guidelines, and carrier requirements. Businesses using the Service for outbound messaging are responsible for their own consent records, opt-out handling, and content.
